How to care for fresh cut Iris

Which day before my wedding do I select for my fresh iris flowers to be delivered?
The iris flowers will be completely closed bud on a arrival. Depending on temperatures, it will take at least one full day to 2 days for them to open up. For a Saturday or Sunday wedding, we recommend a Wednesday or Thursday delivery date.
For a Friday wedding, a Tuesday or Wednesday delivery date. With the right care, Iris Flowers can last up to 1 week.

How far in advance should I order my iris flowers?
For Iris please order at least 7 days in advance of your delivery date. For last minute orders, please contact us by phone

How do I care for my iris flowers?
Cut stem ends to create fresh surface to absorb water and remove any faded stem base.
Remove all foliage below the water line and place in a clean container filled with cool water and, optionally, floral preservative.
If you do not add floral preservative, change the water and re-cut the stems every day or so.
