How to care for fresh cut Calla Lilies

Which day before my wedding do I select for my fresh calla lilies to be delivered?
For a Saturday or Sunday wedding, we recommend a Wednesday or Thursday delivery date.
For a Friday wedding, a Tuesday or Wednesday delivery date. With the right care, mini calla lilies can last up to 2 weeks.

How far in advance should I order my calla lily flowers?

How do I care for my Calla Lilies?
When your calla lilies arrive, it is usual for all the callas in a bunch to bend in the same direction. You can gently turn the calla lilies so that the blooms are all bending out in different directions. Secure the stems with rubber bands together. This will help your calla lilies to stand straight up. Once in bunches, trim the stems about 1 inch up from the bottom with a sharp knife or scissors at an angle and place the bunch in only 2-3" of water. Re-cut the stems and change the water every day. When in water, store the calla lilies in a cool location. Most brides use an air conditioned room, basement or refrigerator for storing their calla flowers. Make sure not to freeze the callas.
